ABOUT KR Cattle

Randy Clements is a rancher, cattle reproduction specialist, and educator dedicated to advancing the beef industry through practical genetics, sound management, and a commitment to helping producers achieve long-term success.

Raised in southeastern Idaho, Randy was immersed in agriculture from an early age, where he developed a passion for the beef industry and a deep appreciation for hard work, stewardship, and livestock. His involvement in FFA, including serving as the Idaho FFA State Vice President and earning his American FFA Degree, helped shape a career centered on improving cattle and serving fellow producers.

Today, Randy owns and operates KR Cattle in New Raymer, Colorado, working with both commercial and seedstock producers to improve herd productivity and profitability. His expertise includes artificial insemination, conventional embryo flushing, embryo transfer, reproductive management, and genetic consultation. Every breeding decision is made with one goal in mind—building productive, efficient, and profitable cow herds for generations to come.

Randy believes reproductive technologies are most effective when paired with a breeding program tailored to each operation. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, he works closely with producers to understand their goals and develop strategies that create lasting value through honest recommendations, dependable service, and practical solutions.

Alongside his reproductive services, Randy is committed to raising functional cattle that excel in the traits that matter most: maternal strength, longevity, structural integrity, fertility, efficiency, and real-world performance. His philosophy is simple—functional cattle that thrive in commercial conditions create long-term value.

Education is also a cornerstone of KR Cattle. Through hands-on artificial insemination and pregnancy diagnosis schools, Randy has helped producers from across the country gain the confidence and practical skills to improve their own breeding programs.

Randy and his family are actively involved in every aspect of the ranch and are proud to be raising the next generation with the same appreciation for agriculture and the western way of life that shaped his own. Whether he's working cattle, teaching a class, or helping develop a breeding program, his mission remains the same: to help producers build stronger cow herds, make better breeding decisions, and leave the cattle industry stronger for the next generation.

Our Program

KR Cattle is built on a simple belief: strong maternal genetics and sound management create lasting success. Located in New Raymer, Colorado, we are committed to helping cattle producers build more productive herds through proven genetics, practical education, and professional reproductive services.

Our operation is rooted in real, hands-on cattle experience and a drive for continual improvement. We focus on developing cattle that thrive in real-world conditions, with an emphasis on fertility, longevity, functionality, and the maternal traits that create exceptional replacement females. We understand the day-to-day challenges producers face because we live them as well, and we strive to provide genetics and services that deliver real value in the pasture, at breeding time, and in the marketplace.

KR Cattle serves producers through artificial insemination classes, pregnancy checking and palpation training, reproductive services including AI and embryo transfer, and access to semen, embryos, and proven bull and donor cow genetics.

At the core of everything we do are three principles: quality genetics that move herds forward, practical knowledge that producers can apply immediately, and trusted relationships built on honest, dependable service.

From education to genetics, KR Cattle is proud to support cattle producers across Colorado and beyond in building stronger, more productive cow herds for generations to come.
